February 13th, 2010 » Thrill the… Dome?

On February 5th, 2010, it was Michael Jackson Day at the Pengrowth Saddledome.  And sixteen awesome undead beasties did a short performance during the half-time show of the Calgary Roughnecks’ game*!   The audience? Over 10,000 strong!! Needless to say, this afforded us an excellent opportunity to raise a lot of awareness of Thrill The World, TTW Calgary, and Wellspring!

Thank you so much to TJ Madigan for orchestrating the whole thing for us, the Roughnecks for letting us shake our undead booty, and to all of the fabulous zombies who participated!

Here are some photos of our marvelous zombie contigent:

*For the record, the Roughnecks went on to kick some Edmonton Rush tail (13 to 8)!

January 26th, 2010 » New Year? What the…?

It’s been a while, my little gooey tubes of necrotic entrails, hasn’t it?! It seems like only yesterday that we were planning to shake our collective undead booty. Now we are in a new year and a new decade! Nutty.

While its a bit of slow period for global Thrill The World, TTW Calgary HQ has been starting to make plans for our 2010 event. We learned so much from our inaugural event and we are determined to tweak all of those little areas that need tweaking (Outdoors. Dancing. In October? Uhm, no.) and makes sure we keep doing those things that made our first event so successful! So be sure to drop by now and then for the latest and greatest TTW Calgary info!

Rest assured, 2010 will be even bigger, badder, and more zombified than 2009!

In the meantime, a treat for you. Here are some fantastic photos from the event in October!
